Members
Members are lawyers who have, at any time, carried the status of Practicing Insured with the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society.

Username
Each member has been assigned a username and password by the Fund. The username is determined by the first letter of your first name, capitalized, plus the first letter of your second name, capitalized, and your last name with the first letter capitalized.

example: John W. Smith's username is JWSmith

Password
The member number issued by the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society will serve as your password. This number can be located on your Nova Scotia Barristers' Membership card. If you cannot locate your number, you may request your member number from cnield@lians.ca.

User Center
Proceed to the User Center if you would like to change your password or have it emailed to you. You will need your NSBS member number.

If you are a qualifying lawyer and your attempts to login are unsuccessful, please fill in the application form below to apply for an account. The approval process may take 24-48 hours.
